The Gift is a 100-metre sprint for men and women over 50, who dress up as their favourite super heroes.
In just five years, it has raised more than $50,000.
If running isn’t your thing, you can muscle up for the traditional tug of war between all the local sporting teams.
The Thirroul Butchers, the Otters, Northern Districts cricket club, the AFL Tigers and Thirroul Thunder soccer team are among the competitors.
There will also be a race for kids and a visit from Dorothy the Dinosaur and Miss Piggy.
Nathan Flint, fresh from the Sydney production of Sweeney Todd, will be singing the national anthem.
Straight after the Gift and the tug of war the crowd is invited to Thirruol's Ryan’s Hotel for a lunch, raffle and auction.
The main drawcard will be Archibald nominee and local artist Paul Ryan donating an $8500 painting.
