Acts of malicious damage occur almost 20 times a day across the Illawarra, making it one of the region's most prevalent crimes.The Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research report released yesterday said the number of incidents had remained stable over the past two years.Yesterday's report said there were 7173 reports of malicious damage in the year to March for the region, which equals about 20 incidents reported a day.
