Behind each of the 550 names on the list attached below is a story. A story of a life lived, of families, of friends and of loved ones.But there is one thing in common in each of the stories for the people on this list. That is that each one of these lives was cut short by a tragic accident in a mine.The list recognises the 550 miners who have died on the Southern Coalfields since 1880.
