A 26-year-old woman has died after her car crashed into a power pole in Helensburgh last night.The Helensburgh woman was driving north on Cemetery Rd when the accident occurred about 10.30pm.Police said the Toyota Soarer was about 100m from the Parkes St intersection when the car left the road and struck a power pole.Emergency services rushed to the scene and found the woman trapped in the car. She died at the scene from her injuries.A crime scene was established and Cemetery Rd was closed for several hours.Police are investigating the cause of the crash and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
