Berry bookseller Michelle Darlington has been eliminated from reality TV cooking competition MasterChef Australia.

Berry bookseller Michelle Darlington stuffed up her stuffed squid in last night's episode of MasterChef Australia, leading to her elimination from the reality TV cooking show. After making an uninspired Chinese-style mushroom dish on Sunday night, Darlington found herself among the bottom three contestants.Last night they had a chance to prove themselves but instead of using a recipe, Darlington cooked on instinct and the resulting stuffed squid was a disaster. Before booting her off the show, judge and restaurateur Gary Mehigan told Darlington she became too worked up during the challenges."I can't apologise," Darlington told the audience. "I am a fiery person, it just comes out. "I want to work in the food industry and have an organic cafe. "The competition allowed me to have a focus. I'll go home and talk to restaurants in my area."Darlington hasn't let elimination from the Network Ten show spoil her vision. When she spoke to the Mercury she was preparing to co-host cooking classes with blossoming celebrity chef Tom Kime. Also, Albion Park beauty Mikarla Hussey's attitude in tonight's Australia's Next Top Model draws the wrath of host Sarah Murdoch and could have her eliminated from the show that made Keiraville's Demelza Reveley famous. The show airs on Austar at 7.30pm.
