Three men accused of a sickening, unprovoked attack on two teens in Crown St Mall have had fresh charges laid against them.Raed Kalal, 21, Dennis Rousianos, 20, and Vivek Trivedi, 21, are already accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company relating to the vicious attack on two teens walking through the mall on Saturday night.Yesterday, Wollongong Local Court heard the trio had been slapped with additional charges of affray and, in the case of Kalal and Trivedi, charges of behaving in an offensive manner in a public place.Kalal, of Miller, and Rousianos, of Wiley Park, have also been charged with robbery in company.None of the Sydney men have entered pleas to the offences, but did not dispute being involved in the attack.Yesterday one of the teen victim's mothers wept as security footage of the attack was played for the court. The security footage showed the trio attack two teens from behind as they walked through Crown St Mall. One of the teens was forced to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched, while the other was king-hit and fell to the ground unconscious. While he was out cold, Rousianos allegedly stole the teen's phone before rolling him onto his stomach and taking his wallet from the rear pocket of his jeans. The trio was arrested five minutes later out the front of the Ivory nightclub. The two teens suffered extensive bruising, bleeding and soreness to their heads and bodies.Represented by private solicitors, Kalal and Trivedi made fresh bail applications before Magistrate Les Mabbutt. The court heard Kalal, an apprentice hairdresser, had a clean criminal record and was remorseful for the attack. However he denied robbing one of the teens or kicking either of them while they were on the ground.Trivedi, who also has a clean record, told the court he contributed to the family income and they would suffer unnecessarily if he was kept in custody.Rousianos chose to have his bail application stood over until a later date. After assessing each case individually Mr Mabbutt granted Trivedi strict conditional bail, ordering he avoid Wollongong CBD, abide by a curfew and not consume alcohol.Kalal was refused bail. All three men will reappear in Wollongong Local Court on November 17.
