Three injured in Bong Bong Rd car crash

A young woman has been critically injured in a car crash on Bong Bong Rd at Dapto this morning.A rescue helicopter landed at Reed Park following the head-on crash at 10.45am today.

  • UPDATE: Woman dies after Bong Bong Rd crash The woman, believed to be about 20 years old, was driving west on Bong Bong Rd when her vehicle and a 4WD collided.The young woman was trapped in her vehicle for about an hour before rescuers could free her.She suffered head and chest injuries and was said to be in a critical condition.She was flown to St George Hospital.Two other people were also injured in the crash.Bong Bong Rd was closed while crash investigators examined the scene.
