A Holy Spirit College student gave the Prime Minister a chuckle today after he stood before a packed jobs forum at the Wollongong Town Hall and offered up his views.Josh Pallas may have gotten himself into a bit of strife with his careers adviser after suggesting careers advice at schools could be improved, Kevin Rudd joked. The Year 12 student told Mr Rudd there was a disparity between careers advice offered at different schools. Listen to the exchange between Josh Pallas and Kevin Rudd"Seeing as though you are forming a national curriculum, if you simply put in a charter of careers advice that set out what each and every careers adviser should do and work towards and what materials they should look at ... I believe this will help some of the youth unemployment issues as people won't be wondering where to look," Josh said. The Prime Minister thanked Josh for his question, before saying: "I will let you deal with your own careers adviser when you get back to Holy Spirit College."I just saw the principal looking at you askance. I'm defending him, principal, and I'm sure you've got a great careers adviser there."
