Gasnier out of Melbourne clash

St George Illawarra centre Mark Gasnier has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s crucial NRL clash with Melbourne due to an ongoing hip flexor injury.Gasnier missed Sunday’s loss to the Sydney Roosters with the same setback and was unable to train with his teammates in Wollongong on Tuesday.Dragons medical staff put the 30-year-old through a rigorous fitness test at WIN Jubilee Oval this morning, which he failed.Kyle Stanley will replace Gasnier against the Storm.See tomorrow’s Mercury for full story.
