Six of the selective school's students were named on the Board of Studies' all-rounders list on Wednesday, giving some of them an inkling they would receive high university entrance scores.
But for former school vice-captain Nina Blazeska, who secured an impressive ATAR of 99.3, seeing the final number was enough to make her cry.
"I put a lot of pressure on myself, and I'm a bit of a stress head, so it feels good that the tears, stress, sleepless nights were all for something," she said.
Nina was also pleased to see her name recognised on the state all-rounders list - something she didn't even know existed until this week - alongside Isabel Crawford, Bowen Ding, Matthew Harrington, Alexi Polden and Angela Wilcox-Watson.
Five of the six students met at their former school yesterday to celebrate their exemplary scores - ranging from 96.9 to 99.65.
' "When you do work so hard, you do want a really nice number to have at the end," Isabel said.
