The video has amassed more than 825,000 views since it was posted on March 4.

In it, Ucles chases a rabbit into a burrow then wanders into an unidentified clearing in western NSW, searching for snakes.

He finds four - three red bellied black snakes and a tiger snake - and picks them up by their tails like streamers.

"Now there's a little bit of a trick that I'm going to be showing youse today," he says to the camera.

"It's how to catch rabbits, using snakes. It's a bit tricky but I'm going to show you how."

He later releases the snakes into different entrances to the burrow and waits until the rabbit flees, then seizes it.

The video is a latest in a series of man-v-wild style endeavours by Ucles, a 24-year-old environmental science graduate who dreams of a career producing and starring in wildlife documentaries.

Melita Hodge, of Ucles' Sydney management company One Management, said interest had been building in his efforts over the past six months.

"He has been approached by about 20 major US and UK production companies to work with him on television programming and ... we are currently working through many exciting opportunities for him," Ms Hodge said.

Ucles is scheduled to fly to a location in western NSW today to start shooting a part in a documentary for the Discovery Channel.

It follows earlier adventures in the Murray-Darling Basin in 2010 and in Africa last year, where he trekked 350 kilometres and recorded more than 50 hours of footage - as yet unaired - of his encounters with wildlife.

Viewers of the rabbit-catching video have marvelled at his pluck.

"Catching a venomous snake with your left hand WHILE holding three other venomous snakes in your right," writes one viewer. "Shit ... I think I'll just order takeout."

Others liken him to Steve Irwin and suggest he is headed for the same fate.

The rabbit in the video was later released.
