The timetable was launched last week and has been the subject of criticism by northern suburbs residents due to a reduction in direct services to and from Sydney.
“Each and every day, I am being contacted by local train commuters who are frustrated by these changes that are seeing them spending more time on platforms and less time with their families,” Mr Park said.
‘‘Barry O’Farrell and his Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian have got this all wrong and that is why I am launching a petition for locals to sign and send a clear message that they are not happy.’’
