A teenager was bashed during an armed robbery in Albion Park on Monday.

Police said a man entered a general store in Albion Park and approached the counter at 3.40pm.
The man asked the 16-year-old employee for cigarettes and when the boy turned around to look for a brand the man hit him over the head with a wrench-like tool causing a deep cut.
Police said the man then walked behind the counter and stole cash from the register before punching the teenager in the head multiple times before running away.
Police are appealing for information into the robbery.
The man is described as being 180 centimetres tall and aged between 19 and 22.
He had dirty shoulder length hair with sunken cheeks and fair skin.
He is very thin and was wearing a grey windbreaker with black track pants.
