A woman accused of a hit-and-run at Helensburgh that left a cyclist in hospital with a broken back has pleaded not guilty to the offence.

Police allege Talia Jade Van-Rysewyk, 24, failed to stop after hitting Brendan Braid as he cycled along the Old Princes Highway about 6.20am on January 5.
Mr Braid, a 58-year-old accountant from the Sutherland area, was flung from his bike and suffered multiple injuries.
A group of cyclists found Mr Braid lying by the road several minutes afterward and phoned emergency services.
Van-Rysewyk, from Engadine, appeared in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop and assist after a car accident.
The matter was adjourned until April 22.
