The veteran broadcaster has called for close on 50 years, but will hang up the binoculars after the meeting at headquarters.
His final trips to the Illawarra will be for the meetings at Bulli (Wednesday) and Dapto (Thursday).
"Race calling was the only career I ever wished to pursue from the age of seven. Suffice to say, I have been very fortunate," Ambrosoli said.
"Racing people of my vintage have seen the very greatest of racing from each code. Champions from racing that will simply never ever be emulated. The benchmark for greyhound racing will always be Zoom Top. Her exploits are well-documented."
Tim Newbold will take over calling all greyhound meetings at Wentworth Park.
