Peter Taranto Real Estate is launching an apartment project in Wollongong on Saturday.
The apartments at 12-14 New Dapto Road, entitled Mont Vue, are yet to be constructed but they are now being sold off the plan.
Mont Vue comprises 34 apartments: six one-bedroom apartments, 26 two-bedrooms and two three-bedrooms. The one-bedroom apartments start from $355,000, the two bedrooms from $425,000, and the three bedrooms from$545,000.
They feature gourmet kitchens, balconies, and ensuites.
Peter Taranto sales consultant Rob Austin said all of the apartments qualified for the state government's first home buyer entitlements.
Mr Austin said the block was being built by local development company Realta Enterprises, which has recently completed The Alto Apartments in Virginia St, North Wollongong and is responsible for constructing the 52-unit Stella Apartments in Atchison St, Wollongong.
Mr Austin will conduct the first public release of apartments today and tomorrow from 11.30am to 2pm.
Must-see for family
A three-bedroom family home at Towradgi was an affordable entry into the northern suburbs market, says Aaron Brightwell of McGrath Estate Agents.
He said the property at 26 Carr Street was a must-see for the first home buyer or investor.
Its features include three bedrooms plus an updated bathroom and kitchen, light-filled interiors, separate living and dining and/or a second sunroom or living area, and fittings including plantation shutters and downlights,
There were also polished timber floors, high ceilings, and an enormous garage space.
Mr Brightwell said the property was in good condition and ready to live in or rent immediately. Set on a level 563- square-metre block, the home is open for inspection today from 11am to 11.45am.
With a price guide of more than $410,000, it goes to auction on Saturday, July 26, at 9am.
Two worth a view
Belle Property Wollongong has two offerings on the market this week in Keiraville.
The first is a four-bedroom home at 11 Akuna Street, a single-level low-maintenance property on 664 square metres.
The home has fresh interiors, a private rear garden and a cul-de-sac setting next to Nyrang Park and close to Keiraville and Gwynneville villages.
Agent Darren Kay said the home's layout was practical with an open living and dining space plus sliding glass doors opening to a front verandah. The kitchen was well equipped and had stainless appliances plus four good-sized bedrooms including three with built-in wardrobes, he said. The home is open for inspection today from 10.30 to 11.30am. It goes to auction on Wednesday, August 6, at 6pm.
The second Keiraville listing, with Belle Property Wollongong agent Sam O'Halloran, is a two-bedroom apartment at 3/42 Grey Street. On sale for offers above $250,000, the apartment is set in a block of only four and features a modernised kitchen in neutral tones and ample storage plus combined lounge and dining area with timber floor boards.
Mr O'Halloran said it was perfect for the first home buyer or as a low-maintenance portfolio addition.
It is open for inspection on Saturday from midday to 12.30pm.
With a difference
Two Canyonleigh properties, owned by Father Chris Riley's Youth Off The Streets, are on the market because they are surplus to the community organisation's needs.
The first property is Lot 1 Tugalong Road, formerly known as the organisation's Better Homes Farm and the Matthew Hogan School. Set on 40 hectares, Better Homes Farm consists of a residential building with seven bedrooms, one main bathroom and three en suites.
Listed with Joe Casarotto and Lynda Burnside of Raine & Horne Wollongong, the residential building has an open-plan living area with large kitchen, dining room, lounge room and rumpus room to the northern end of the building with large open fire place and air conditioning.
A one-bedroom flat is attached to this end of the building with external access. The living areas and some bedrooms overlook a kidney shaped in-ground pool.
Mr Casarotto said a ColorBond weather shed was close to the home and surrounded by classrooms. Ten transportable metal classrooms are part of the property. There were also stables, with an adjoining large metal-clad workshop shed with concrete floor.
It is open for inspection today from 11am to midday.
The second listing is a semi-rural property at Lot 2 Tugalong Road, set on 40 hectares. Also listed with Mr Casarotto and Ms Burnside, the brick residence has 11 bedrooms, five bathrooms, office and two lounge rooms.
The property is open for inspection today from 12.15pm to 1pm.
Both properties will go to auction on Saturday, August 23.
