"At first I wanted to do it but now I'm leaning more towards commerce and law," he said.
The Edmund Rice College year 12 student said that while the exam hadn't been particularly difficult, the section on decision support systems was demanding.
"It's about the use of spreadsheets to manage data ... for example, the process used by a car insurance website where you put in details and it tells you which type of insurance is best for you," he said.
Like many other HSC students, Christian is looking forward to the time-honoured tradition of burning his notes after exams end. "I'm collecting all the exam papers, too, which I'll probably end up burning," he said.
Christian is unsure what career he wants to pursue; for now he is too distracted choosing which University of Wollongong early-entry offer to accept. "I'm trying to pick between primary education and a business degree, but, depending on my ATAR, I might try for a double law and business degree."
His advice regarding studying for exams included removing digital distractions. "If you're studying on a computer don't have the internet connected, and turn off your Wi-Fi and mobile phone," he said.
