An inspection of Reed Park and King George Oval on Friday found both grounds unplayable, with the forecast of more thunderstorms to come.
All clubs should be close to full strength with the return of their Illawarra representatives who were in Griffith for the NSW Country championships last weekend.
The form of many clubs has fluctuated like the weather but the bottom of the table Wollongong - with just one win - and the win-less premiers Keira are particularly desperate for a win at North Dalton Park.
Keira ran into their own violent batting storm last Saturday with Balgownie opener David Murphy smashing a century in 13 overs to set up an easy Bally win.
Wollongong and Keira have batted poorly this season and their hopes of a win will rest on making enough runs to give their bowlers a target to defend.
Last weekend Wollongong were no match for the inconsistent Northern Districts, who won comfortably after fine batting efforts from Lachlan Dunn (88) and Justin Brancato (56).
Meanwhile, Port Kembla have been left frustrated by their washed out draw against Wests Illawarra after improving to fourth following three wins.
In other games, Balgownie host leaders Helensburgh in the match of the round at Judy Masters Oval.
Bally are playing better than their position of fifth indicates, while Burgh suffered their first defeat of the season away to University.
Lastly, Corrimal host Northern Districts.
Ladder: Helensburgh 41, Uni 37, Corrimal 35, Port Kembla 34, Balgownie 21, Norths 22, Dapto 18, Wests 18, Wollongong 13, Keira 5.
