A man will face court as another man remains in hospital following an alleged stabbing at Coniston yesterday.

About 12.40pm on Thursday police attached to Wollongong Local Area Command were called to a unit on Heaslip Street, Coniston, following reports of an injured man.
Police were told two men, aged 49 and 50, were in the unit when the older man allegedly stabbed the younger man in the shoulder with a knife.
Emergency services were called and the injured man was taken to Wollongong Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The 50-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Wollongong Police Station, where he was charged with wounding with intent.
He has been refused bail, to appear at Port Kembla Local Court today.
