Independent state election candidate Arthur Rorris says there's more at risk of privatisation than electricity assets, including Coniston-based superannuation administration provider Pillar.

In October 2013, the NSW government flagged plans to sell off the publicly owned Illawarra company, which employs about 700 people and Mr Rorris said action was needed now to safeguard its future.
"It is unfortunate both Labor and Liberal governments have tried to privatise it in the past and that uncertainty must end," Mr Rorris said. "It [privatisation] is not just about poles and wires, it is also about administration centres such as Pillar and we need assurances from both major parties that they won't try to sell it off again."
Mr Rorris said a massive community campaign to support workers was initiated when then Labor treasurer Eric Roozendaal tried to privatise Pillar in 2009.
"It's now time to rule it out for good," he said.
