A truck driver was seriously injured after two heavy vehicles collided in the Southern Highlands early Monday morning.

About 8.30am two trucks were travelling north on the Hume Highway at Sutton Forest when a collision occurred.
One truck has rolled, coming to rest on its side and emergency services are working to free the male driver. It is understood he is in a serious condition.
The other truck driver was not injured and he will undergo mandatory testing.
Traffic diversions are in place around the crash site and delays are expected.
