Stalls will provide handmade items, arts and crafts, as well as information kiosks for service providers from health care, crime prevention and education.
Traditional Aboriginal games, face painting and performances will be featured during the event and a sausage sizzle provided.
This year's NAIDOC theme "We all stand on sacred ground: learn, respect and celebrate", recognises the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' strong connection to land and sea.
"This is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures at our community gardens that is nurtured by residents and is a source of improved wellbeing," Shellharbour Mayor Marianne Saliba said.
"The day will be an opportunity for our community to engage with service providers and access health and community service professionals all in the one space."
The activities will be held from 11am-1pm on Monday at the gardens on the corner of Wattle Road and Carrington Street, Barrack Heights.
