The youngster joined a group of children who enjoyed the "robot invasion" sculpture and printmaking course at Wollongong Art Gallery.

The kids, led by artist Skye Zaracostas, learnt about decorative techniques to make their robots come to life before drawing robot designs for a series of prints.

The workshop was part of the gallery's school holiday program,which runs until next Friday.
