The Fair Work Ombudsman says No Land Tax Party secretary Peter Jones isn't fully co-operating with its investigation as thousands of workers remain unpaid three months on from the state election.

Berkeley couple Sarah and Dimitrie Marsala donned yellow vests for NLT at Berkeley West Public School on March 28, but packed up after being told their job was part of a scam and they wouldn't be paid.
The couple received a pay slip in late May, but are yet to see a cent of what they are owed - $330 for a day's work.
Almost 1000 affected workers have lodged requests for assistance with the ombudsman.
In its most recent public statement, the Fair Work Ombudsman's office said it had attempted to negotiate the back-payment of outstanding wages and entitlements with Mr Jones by agreement.
"This is our standard practice in all alleged underpayment matters," executive director of dispute resolution and compliance Steve Ronson said.
"However, Mr Jones is not fully co-operating with the investigation and has been asked to meet with Fair Work inspectors to provide further information," Mr Ronson said.
"Mr Jones has made misleading statements to his former workers regarding their eligibility for Fair Entitlements Guarantee assistance.
"The Fair Work Ombudsman takes this matter very seriously."
Mr Ronson said the FWO had shifted from its usual stance of not providing public commentary about ongoing operational matters, because it was "important to reassure the public that the matter is receiving priority attention".
An FWO spokesman told the Mercury this week the investigation was ongoing and evidence, including statements from affected workers, was being gathered.
Information about small claims has also been offered, with some workers expressing interest in taking their own action.
Up to 3600 people were engaged to distribute NLT Party election material and their payments total more than $1 million.
The Mercury contacted Mr Jones for comment.
