Being mindful of what you are eating when dining out with friends can be tricky. Here are some tips I have learnt along the way.
■ Eat a healthy snack before going out, in the hope that you are less likely to over-eat.
■ Try to choose healthy choices, like salads and protein (be careful of the size of the protein).
■ Be careful of sauces as they can be full of hidden calories.
■ Try not to eat too many canapes at parties - they might be little in size, but not necessarily in calories!
