The woman’s car flipped in the southbound lane at Bulli Tops about 6.05pm Tuesday, a short distance past the Bulli Pass Road turnoff.
It collided with a jersey barrier and landed on its roof.
The woman was able to free herself from the car, and has been taken to Wollongong Hospital with neck pain.
The accident caused delays to southbound motorists for more than an hour as emergency services personnel cleared the site.
Live Traffic NSW advises all southbound lanes are now open.
