The Instagrammers shared 89 posts over the week with each post tagging @visitwollongong and using the hashtag #visitwollongong.
Posts shared by influencers during Instaweek reached 1.3 million people and received 356,579 “Likes” and 4,565 comments.
Many of the images were picked up by major Instagram accounts.
When @australia shared @jewelszee’s rainbow over the lighthouse’s it generated 51,345 likes and 416 comments.
Australia has the world’s most award winning destination Instagram account.
