Highlights on Mental Health is raising funds for the Light & Hope Mental Health Clubhouse in Wollongong.
The Shellharbour teen’s hair and makeup was done by Peter Marx, of Blukiss Hair Gallery in Wollongong.
Ms Bates sees mental health as an important cause.
She deferred university last year and has just returned from a gap year in Europe.
“I have done a couple of modelling compeitions before. I was in Miss Country Girl Australia. I am looking forward to seeing where this takes me.’’
