Monique Field started it in 2013 when she saw a need in the growing business community south of Windang Bridge.
It has steadily grown and for the second birthday two inspiring local women spoke.
Maralyn Young, of Casa Mia, gave a presentation on “Does Size Matter”.
She also spoke about a fundraiser this Sunday for her BreastAware initiative promoting the importance of self breast examination and early detection.
A sparkling high tea is being held at Seacliff Restaurant from 11.30am.
The other speaker was Amy Harper, of law firm Kells.
An accredited specialist in Business Law and Commercial Law Mrs Harper was appointed a partner in 2012 at age 31.
The former IWIB Young Business Woman of the Year started at Kells a decade ago, after three years in Sydney and two in Nowra.
She has completed The Illawarra Connection and University of Wollongong Sydney Business School MBA Scholarship and in 2009 became only the third woman in the state to become a Law Society of NSW Accredited Specialist in Business Law.
