Ms Lowrey did it one take just prior to Christmas for broadcast on aircraft in eight different languages by early February.
The Tourism Australia concept features Australians in stunning locations and specifically sought a female pilot.
Ms Lowrey never expected to become an ambassador for Wollongong when she chose to live in the city with an international reputation for hand gliding.
The video will be seen by 30 million people a year and feature on the airline’s online channels.
HangglideOz’s Tony Armstrong said it was the biggest promotion for hang gliding and the region he’d seen.
