Popular Thirroul eatery Bergie’s Fish Cafe is up for sale. Owners Mark and Julia Berg are selling the business they started three years ago, so Julia can spend more time with their three children.

“My wife is the backbone of the business,” Mr Berg said.
“Julia has created such an awsome culture, but we are struggling with the work, life balance.
My kids and I want our mum and wife back.”
And while cooking fish and chips won’t be part of the daily routine in the future, fish will still be part of their lives with Mr Berg continuing to host two fishing shows Mark Berg’s Fishing Addiction and The Next Level on Foxtel.
“Even though we’ll be sad to hand the keys over, there are new chapters in life.”
Mr Berg said his production company King Tide Productions was already planning a new “game changing” business venture.
Bergie’s is listed for sale with Bevans Thirroul for $299,000.
