It seems everyone loved seeing zookeepers mark the occasion by presenting the famous hand raised koala with a bouquet of freshly picked Australian native flowers mixed with the freshest of eucalyptus leaves.
Producer of the imagery Kevin Fallon said worldwide interest in the Valentine’s Day vision was phenomenal. He said it was pushed by BBC Worldwide and was aired by Good Morning America.
“It was also aired by National Nine News and pushed across their Twitter and Instagram,” he said.
Others to pick it up included online channel Littlethings.com which has more than five million active fans.
Visit NSW ran it on social media channels which have more than one million active fans on Facebook as well as best.today which has more than 750,000 active fans on Instagram.
“Combined the online channels who have shared our video..have an audience of around 15 millions fans,” Mr Fallon said.
“This is not including the reach of National Nine News..and GMA.”
