The youngest contestant, and the Illawarra’s only representative this year, Quinn was one of 36 children aged from eight to 13 selected to compete in the reality show hosted by Grant Denyer and Chrissie Swan for the WIN network.
In the first episode, Quinn was up against three other boys Joel, Rory and Zachary in his age group. Unfortunately Quinn incorrectly spelled out o-b-s-e-l-i-t-e, instead of o-b-s-o-l-e-t-e, which meant he could not go through to the next round of the competition. Despite his early elimination Quinn enjoyed the challenge of being on the TV show and making new friends. He began reading street signs as a toddler and was reading books before he started kindergarten.
