Beer lovers can join a walking tour of the city’s bars as part of next week’s Fringe Festival.

The festival started on Friday and features a range of events.
One of these is Wednesday’s Walk Beer Eat, with tour guide James “Koots” Cayley.
“We thought it’d be fun to do a walking tour, to take people around Wollongong and show them the cool bars that are going on and showcasing some good beers at the same time,” said Adam Smith from Yours and Owls.
Dagwood, Howling Wolf and The Little Prince are the featured bars and there will be food and beers from The Rocks Brewing Company to sample at each stop.
“It will be informative, but it’s more about enjoying your beers and food and having a little chat,” Smith said.
