D&D Traffic Management is helping keep thousands of people safe this weekend at a car race attracting almost 200,000 people on the Gold Coast. The Wollongong born business’s Queensland team is managing road closures and traffic and pedestrian management on the Gold Coast for the GC600 Supercar event at Surfers Paradise. D&D Traffic Management’s work takes in all 10 days of construction and dismantling for the three day motor racing event. Managing director Robert Cazzolli said everyone involved in the D&D Group was thrilled to be able to contribute to the success of such a premier event. “The complex project of turning the heart of Surfers Paradise into a racetrack involves many road closures and traffic changes. We take our job of ensuring that people get to where they need to go in a safe and convenient manner very seriously. Our dedicated crews are working 24/7 to make this happen. I’d like to thank Tynan Diaz and all of our traffic controllers and supervisors for their tireless efforts”.
