Corrimal Christmas Carols, CORRIMAL

Held at Ziems Park, Hall Street, Corrimal 6pm for 6.30pm start. See students from Bellambi Public School, Corrimal Public School, Corrimal East Public School, Tarrawanna Public School, Towradgi Public School and Corrimal High School.

Saturday, December 3

Wollongong Christmas Carols, Gifting It Back, WOLLONGONG:

Held at JJ Kelly Park, Wollongong, 6pm to 9.30pm. Includes Wollongong acts including The Disability Trust Music Makers and Star Dancers, and fireworks at the end of the night. Every child receives a free gift from Santa. Free event.

Dapto Community Carols, DAPTO

Held at Dapto Showground, 89 Princes Highway, Dapto from 5pm to 9.30pm. The event is hosted by the Combined Churches of Dapto. Activities from 5pm to 7.30pm with main program from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Shellharbour council’s Carols by Candlelight, LAKE ILLAWARRA:

Held at Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra, 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Kids concert from 5.30pm to 6.15pm, carols from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, fireworks at 8.30pm. The free event will include former members of The Ten Tenors Shannon Brown and Jason Turnbull.

Saturday, December 10

Figtree Community Carols, FIGTREE

Held at Figtree High School, 4.30pm to 9.30pm. Special guests the Jelly Wobbles, local talent will lead the singing. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display.

Illawarra Choral Society’s Concert of Carols, WOLLONGONG

Held at The Church on the Mall, 116 Crown Street, Wollongong, 6.30pm. The featured work will be Benjamin Britten's much loved A Ceremony of Carols. The second half of the program will be a selection of carols. Carols by the Beach, THIRROUL

Held at Thirroul Beach Reserve, 4pm to 8.45pm. Live entertainment, market stalls and kids activities from 4pm, kids carols with a visit from Santa at 6.30pm and carols by candlelight at 7.30pm.

Community Carols on Gray, WOONONA: 

In the grounds of Woonona Presbyterian Church, Gray Street, Woonona, 6.30pm sausage sizzle, 7.30pm carols start. Free admission, BYO chair.

Carols in Strachan Park, WOONONA

Hosted by the Lions Club of Woonona at Strachan Park from 6.30pm. Sausage sizzle, free glow sticks and a vist from Santa.

Tuesday, December 13

Carols in the Park at Jamberoo, JAMBEROO

Held at Reid Park from 7pm. Bring a blanket or a chair and settle in for an evening of carols supported by the Salvation Army Band. The wet weather alternative venue is Jamberoo Public School, located on Churchill Street. 

Albion Park Community Carols, ALBION PARK

Held at Albion Park High School on Church Street from 6pm. Children’s activities (face painting, animal zoo, jumping castle) and a barbeque from 6pm with carols starting at 7.30pm. Glow sticks and candles can be purchased on entry. Bring a blanket or a chair.

Carols on the Green, KIAMA

Held at Kiama Golf Club from 6pm to 8pm. Bring the picnic rug and enjoy a family night out. There will be face-painting, live music, a petting zoo, visit from Santa, and food and beverages will be available.

Wednesday, December 14

Kiama Community Carols in the Park, KIAMA

Held at Hindmarsh Park from 7pm to 9pm. Singers from local schools will perform and nearby shops will be open. In the event of inclement weather, the carols will take place at The Pavilion.

Friday, December 16

Wiseman Park Carols, GWYNNEVILLE

The combined event of St Brigids Catholic Church and St John's Anglican, Keiraville will be held from 6pm. Face Painting and fun for kids, barbeque followed by Christmas carols at 7.30pm.

Saturday, December 17

Carols on Crown, WOLLONGONG

Held at Crown Street Mall outside David Jones from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Featuring multi-award winning recording artist Christine Anu and the Gateway City Church choir.

Bring a cushion or a picnic blanket and some Christmas cheer. Food stalls will be on site and many stores and eateries will be open until 9pm. Kids entertainment available and a fireworks display.

Carols in the Burgh, HELENSBURGH

Held at the Western Cricket Ground, Helensburgh next to the tennis courts from 5pm. Christmas carols will start at 7.30pm. Food and entertainment available with fireworks at the end of the night.

Sunday, December 18

Carols on the Lawn, WEST WOLLONGONG

Held at Keiraview Uniting Church, 34 Fisher Street, West Wollongong from 5.30pm to 8pm. There will be a jumping castle, games for kids, and food and drink from 5.30pm to 7pm. Carols will be from 7pm to 8pm. Free admission.

Oak Flats Community Carols, OAK FLATS

Held at Oak Flats Anglican Church from 5pm. Free sausage sizzle.

Carols by the Sea, AUSTINMER

Held at Austinmer Beach Park from 7.30pm. Start with a swim, bring a picnic dinner and join in for live music and open air carols. Hosted by Austinmer Anglican Church. Wet weather alternative venue: Austinmer Public School.

Saturday, December 24

Jamberoo Community Carols, JAMBEROO

Held at Jamberoo Anglican Church from 5pm with a meal afterwards.
