5.20pm: A woman is dead and 11 others have been transported to hospital after an aged care bus overturned on the Princes Motorway at Yallah.
4.15pm: One woman has died and 11 others have been taken to hospitals at Wollongong, Shellharbour and St George after a B-double tanker and bus crash on Wednesday.
One woman has since been discharged from hospital, another is in a serious but stable condition.
Eight people are in a stable condition, one woman remains in a critical condition.
The M1 Princes Motorway has reopened.
3.27pm: The M1 Princes Motorway remains closed northbound at Yallah after a fatal accident on Wednesday. Traffic is heavy in both directions.
All northbound vehicles are being diverted onto New Lake Entrance Road, Windang Road through Shellharbour and Windang.
The crash investigation unit, emergency services and RMS are at the scene.
2.15pm: The M1 Princes Motorway remains closed northbound at Yallah after a fatal accident on Wednesday. Traffic is heavy in both directions. See below for diversions.
1.20pm: A woman has died and multiple people have been injured after a crash on the Princes Highway at Yallah on Wednesday.
A Warrigal care minibus with 11 people on board collided with a truck, causing the bus to roll onto its side just before noon.
Nine people have been treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; not all of the treated people were passengers in the minibus.
Two people are in a critical condition and one person is in a serious condition.
One person has been transferred to Albion Park helicopter base to meet up with an ambulance helicopter. Five people have been transferred to Wollongong Hospital.
The two drivers were not injured, and have been taken to hospital for mandatory tests, police said.
The Princes Highway at Yallah is closed northbound. Traffic is heavy in both directions.
Northbound vehicles are being diverted onto New Lake Entrance Road, Windang Road through Shellharbour and Windang.
Light vehicles in the traffic queue are being turned around or diverted onto Yallah Road and Marshall Mount Road to rejoin the Princes Highway.
Southbound motorists should consider using Windang Road and Shellharbour Road as an alternative route.
12.55pm: NSW Ambulance have confirmed one person has died in the accident at Yallah. Two people are in a critical condition and one person in a serious condition.
Nine people in total were injured. The Mercury understands this may include people who were not on the bus, travelling in another car.
Five people have been transported to Wollongong Hospital.
Another person has been taken by road ambulance to Albion Park helicopter base for airlift to Sydney.
One of the patients in a critical condition is in cardiac arrest as a result of their injuries.
12.45pm: One person has died and multiple people have been injured in a bus rollover on the Princes Highway at Yallah on Wednesday afternoon.
One person is being transferred to Albion Park helicopter base to meet up with an ambulance helicopter.
12.40pm: Three people have been transported to Wollongong Hospital.
12.30pm: The Princes Highway is closed north of Yallah Road at Yallah after a serious bus accident that has injured multiple people.
Traffic is heavy with light vehicles now being diverted onto Yallah Road and Marshall Mount Road to rejoin the Princes Highway.
Traffic is heavy in both directions.
The Transport Management Centre advises motorists travelling north from Albion Park Rail (including those in B-Doubles) to consider using Lake Entrance Road and Windang Road instead.
12.22pm: HAZMAT crews are on their way to the site to deal with a diesel spill.
12.20pm: Everyone has been removed from the bus with multiple people being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

12.10pm: Emergency services have been called to an accident involving a bus where at least six people have been injured on the Princes Highway at Yallah.
It’s understood two people are trapped.
The Princes Highway is closed northbound and traffic is heavy.
