Jumping from box three, Tiempo Dinero was in striking distance when they rounded the first turn and the promising sprinter was able to overhaul Cheryl Betts’s Tiny Terror to score by three lengths in a time of 30.05 seconds.
Local trainer Garry Edwards’ pup Panel Beater ran on well for third.
Tiempo Dinero’s win provided trainer Campbell with a $25,000-to-the-winner prize.
She had come into the race with three chances, including $2.60 race favourite Big Black which copped a massive check on the first turn and couldn’t recover.
Campbell’s other runner, La Chica Pequena, was fourth after fading over final 100m. Meanwhile, Dapto (Thursday) and Bulli (Saturday) both host meetings this week.
