Local painters, sculptors, artists and UOW students came together from August 15-17 to create interactive masterpieces such as colourful chalk murals, yarn sculptures and ‘graffiti’ art murals.
Event organiser Kayla Dean said the fourth annual event was designed to make people look at campus in a different way.
‘’Students walk around campus staring at their phones or rushing to classes. We want them to take some time out to engage with creative activities and appreciate our beautiful campus,’’ she said.
Highlights this year included the ever-popular Mulga the Artist, who produced a mural; an interactive recycled TV installation by Oh Boy Collective and a performance art piece featuring temporary water art.
There was also a workshop on how to weave plastic bags in to sleeping mats for local homeless people as well as a flower garden made out of recycled metal.
