You’d better check your ticket – you could be a millionaire.
An Illawarra resident, or a visitor to the region, is now $1 million richer after winning the entire division-one prize in this week’s Monday Lotto draw.
However, they are yet to discover the life-changing news.
NSW Lotteries says while their entry was registered to a Players Club Card, their contact details were incomplete and officials have no way of contacting them.
The entry – the only division-one winner across Australia on Monday night – was purchased at the Shellharbour Newsagency on Addison Street.
The winning ticketholder has been urged to contact NSW Lotteries as soon as possible on 131 868 to claim their prize.
NSW Lotteries spokeswoman Bronnie Spencer said there were a million reasons why Illawarra residents and visitors should check their Lotto tickets.
“Imagine winning a neat $1 million,” Ms Spencer said.
“What a fantastic way to continue that long weekend feeling.
“We’re keen to unite the latest Illawarra winner with their prize so we are urging anyone who bought an entry in last night’s draw to check their ticket.”
The winning numbers in Monday night’s Lotto draw (draw number 3700) were 26, 7, 12, 17, 29 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 6 and 31.
Ms Spencer reminded players of the importance of keeping their contact details up to date on their Players Club card.
