A 23-year-old man accused of carrying guns on a public bus at Warilla has been identified in court as Jake Lewis Andrew.

Police documents said Andrew was arrested aboard the Shellharbour-bound bus on Tuesday morning after police were alerted to the incident about 9.45pm
Police seized an air rifle and an air pistol, both of which are classed as prohibited firearms
A number of other prohibited firearms and items were found and seized from Andrews’ home later that afternoon, including 300 gel pellets for use in single or rapid-fire air guns.
Andrews was charged with 10 offences including unauthorised possession of prohibited firearms.
He did not apply for bail in Wollongong court on Wednesday and it was formally refused.
He is expected to make a bail application on Friday.
