Heyman, who hails from Shellharbour, will return to Canberra United after battling an ankle injury for most of the NSW NPL season. United play Melbourne Victory in the first round.
Cooper has made the switch from the Wanderers to cross-town rivals Sydney FC. The Sky Blues played on Friday night against Brisbane.
Cooper is joined at the club by New Zealand youth international Emma Rolston, who started up front for the Stingrays last season alongside veteran Michelle Carney.
Meanwhile, the Wanderers will have solid Illawarra representation with three players poised to don the red and black.
Illawarra veteran Erica Halloway makes her return to the club while Tilly Kramer and Katelyn Leadbeatter are also in the squad.
Leadbeatter, a former student at the Illawarra Sports High School, spent all of last season on the sidelines as she recovered from an ACL tear. The promising defender had previously played for the Australian Schoolgirls and was announced in the Young Matildas squad.
Stingrays President Brendan Macalpine was stoked to have some many of the club’s players participating in the competition.
“Having so many of our girls recognised and playing at the highest level is the greatest acknowledgment we can get and shows we’re doing some very good things here at the Stingrays,” he said.
