Police say most of the 10,000 revellers who took part in this year’s Santa Claus Pub Crawl were well-behaved, with only a handful finding themselves on the naughty list.

Wollongong police conducted an operation across the city’s CBD and surrounding areas during Saturday’s event. Officers were assisted by a number of specialist units.
Wollongong duty officer Acting Inspector Charles Hutchins said police were “generally happy” with the participants’ behaviour and there were no major incidents related to the event.
However, Inspector Hutchins said there were a number of arrests and police actions taken for various offences.
Eight drug possession charges were laid and there were seven infringement issued for people failing to leave a licensed premises.
Officers also took action in relation to six incidents of people behaving in an offensive manner.
The annual pub crawl raises money for Salvation Army-run programs.
