Emergency services, including two ambulances, rushed to the scene of the accident on Ironbark Crescent about 2.45pm on Wednesday.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics responded to reports a car had run into the back of a truck.
A 21-year-old man was pinned between the vehicles, but has since been freed. He is being treated by paramedics for a large laceration to his upper leg, the spokeswoman said.
The man, who was loading or unloading the truck at the time of the accident, is expected to be taken by ambulance to Wollongong Hospital.
Initial reports suggested the car, a small sedan, rolled about 30 metres before pinning the man against the truck.
