Man with gun demands cash in attempted robbery at Warilla: police

The man approached the women with what was believed to be a firearm at a home on McCool Street about 7.10pm and demanded cash, police said.

The women ran back inside the home and contacted police before the man left.

Lake Illawarra police were called and patrolled the area, but were unable to locate the man.
