The club's members drive Showgirl entrants around the showground in their classic cars prior to the announcement of the winner and runner-up.
Bruce Staniforth has owned sports cars since 1954 and enjoys showing off his red seven-speed 1972 Triumph TR6.
"Initially, it was an American import from Britain, so it was left-hand drive, so it got converted to right-hand drive and basically everything else has been done - you can name it virtually," he said.
"My daughter-in-law won the Showgirl competition one year and, since then, we've had an interest in the Showgirl."
Prizes for entrants and the winner this year include a trip to Sydney, jewellery, restaurant and fitness vouchers, and beauty products.
Entrants will also have their make-up professionally done prior to the Kiama Show Ball on January 10.
Held in Kiama since 1963, the competition is an integral part of Kiama Show, showcasing young women with a passion for the district.
Entrants will visit farms to learn about Kiama's industries and sash prize winners at the show on January 24-25.
Each entrant is judged according to The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition criteria including personality, confidence, ambition and life goals, general knowledge, presentation and speech.
Entrants must be aged 18 to 25 years as of May 1 next year.
For more information and entry forms, call 0404 494 921.
Tickets are also now on sale for the ball, which will be held at Kiama Leisure Centre.
Tickets are $35 each from the Kiama Visitors Centre, with tables of up to 10 people available.
