The Adelaide 36ers are confident they won't be forced into "Hawks-style" basketball tonight at WIN Entertainment Centre.
Wollongong have climbed to fifth spot with four straight wins.
The Hawks thrashed Adelaide 102-80 on February 9 and the Sixers swear it won't happen again.
"We're preparing for one of the hottest teams in the league, but at the same time, it's about doing what we know we can do," Adelaide guard Gary Ervin said.
"Last time we kind of played to the Hawks' style instead of playing like the 36ers. The reason why we became one of the best teams in the league is because we know what we do best, and not letting other teams dictate how we play."
