Following in her older brothers' footsteps, 11-year-old Holly Severn has become this year's school captain at Dapto Public School.
Dylan Severn, 16, and Zac, 14, were elected by students and teachers in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
Holly said that although she desperately wanted to win the captaincy, she wasn't the only worthy nominee.
"I did put a bit of pressure on myself because my brothers got it," she said. "I'm really excited now and I want to make sure everyone has a good time at school."
Deborah Severn said her children had represented the school in sport and public speaking.
She said she attributed her children's achievements to the family's close relationship.
"We're a pretty close family, we make sure to spend time together on the weekend because the kids are heavily involved in activities," she said.
"We're very disciplined, supportive, encouraging and big on manners - the old-fashioned way of behaving."
