The Fury are yet to play a game in the Illawarra Premier League and are still in both the Waratah Cup and Bert Bampton Cup competitions.
They will play Marconi Stallions in the statewide FFA Cup qualifying competition later this month but also need to squeeze in their first three local fixtures.
The Fury have more on their agenda than most local teams.
‘‘It is going to take a lot of management this year,’’ Boardman said.
‘‘The last couple of years we have had to deal with it.
‘‘We will manage with our players. We have a decent roster and some kids in youth grade who can come in if needed.’’
It is hoped the club will play their first match of the season against South Coast United on Wednesday evening.
