Luke Koteras is one of my favourite local singer-songwriters at the moment who is really stepping up and showing the rest of the world what he's got to offer.

I've always known this guy had some serious talent in the guitar department after seeing him play gigs back when he was 17 years old and labels like Foghorn Records were throwing free recording time at him.
But it's his voice that's really impressed me lately and after hearing his most recent tunes on Triple J Unearthed, I'm an even bigger fan of his work.
Now, having toured through China, Europe, Africa and Thailand, as well as North America more recently, Luke is in a class of his own with his performances and songwriting.
Perhaps his biggest achievement recently has been his appearance on The Voice, where Luke performed in front of Kylie Minogue, Ricky Martin, Will.I.Am and Joel Madden, as well as the live studio audience.
Luke was included in The Voice's promo video, which had Luke's fans circulating it around social media last week.
Luke has also released a number of albums on iTunes, with his most recent album 13 being released in January.
As well as doing solo music, Luke gigs regularly around the Illawarra and Sydney in his duo Kinetic Method, where he is joined by keyboardist/percussionist Byron Mark.
For information on his gigs this month, go to facebook.com/lukekoteras.
Remember to tune into The Voice on WIN on Sundays at 6.30pm for a chance to catch Luke performing live.
